Bye Durango Ward!

We had a special meeting today at church with 2 other wards. I had to miss it due to Dean being under the weather. Brian and Noah went and told me that the 3 wards split to make a 4th ward. We were kicked out of the Durango and put into the new ward. Brian and I were released from our callings Primary Pres and Assistant Scout Master. It was a bitter sweet moment for me because this had been the ward we started going to since we have been married. I knew we would be leaving soon since we are moving so this actually made it easier for us. I had been stressing when I should tell the Bishop that I was leaving and needed to be replaced. I was sad leaving my calling which I loved so much! I had only been serving in it for 8 months. I was grateful to experience the planning, preparation, and presentation of the Primary Program. We will miss the Durango Ward and the special bonds I had made with the long time members of the ward. They were there to experience our sorrow and joys through having our children. I will never forget all the little acts of service our family received through the years!

Getting ready for Christmas

We enjoyed our Sunday evening decorating our home for the Christmas holiday. It will be our last Christmas in this home. I figured I could pack everything in the living room, minus the furniture, and enjoy our decorations as long as we can. The kids enjoyed setting up the room.

Deborah 3 months

We have a smiler in the family! Deborah is such a great smiler and has a cute little laugh. She is starting to talk baby babble. I love the sounds she makes and she gives the best smiles. She is a wonderful baby. I hope that continues. She pretty much is happy most of the time unless she gets hungry or tired. She sleeps great at night and usually can go at least 10 hrs straight. She goes to bed by 7 pm and doesn't wake up until at least 5 am but is usually after 6. She even went from 7pm to 8am one night. She continues to roll from her belly to her back. We love having this beautiful baby in our home!

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at Grandma and Grandpa Cardon's home. It was a small group of only 19 this year. We enjoyed yummy food and ate outside. We then had great desserts at the Stock's home later that evening. This was our attempt to get a quick family picture before we ate. I an especially grateful for my wonderful handsome husband and healthy children!

Jessie

Jessie was the name Dean wanted to name Deborah throughout most of the pregnancy. He got this name from the movie Toy Story 2 and 3. He has a Jessie doll and decided he wanted Deborah to use the hat so she could be Jessie for the day.

Julia is 23 months

Julia is growing up. She is speaking more each day and even others can understand her. She is very dramatic and uses her face to help describe how she feels. It is hard to think that she will be 2 years soon. This picture is of her in the backyard. She will go out there by herself and play by the back fence. She likes to look over at the park or go under the orange tree. She continues to keep us on our toes. She continues to give great hugs and kisses. She is are cuddle girl which is so sweet. I love watching her with her Dad. She gives him the best hugs when he leaves for work and when he comes home. Sometimes we are at the park when he gets home so he walks over to say hi. When Julia sees him she starts running towards him. It is so cute to watch!

11-11-11 Party

This girl in my ward Jamie threw a fun party for the kids to celebrate 11-11-11. The kids loved it and she did a wonderful job at having fun activities for them to do. Dean and Julia had a blast! There was a fun run around the park and each of the kids got medals. Dean did great running and chose to run barefoot. There was a dollar gift exchange, treats, and at 11:11 am we celebrated by using noise makers.
