Court of Honor

Noah had a Scout Court of Honor where he was awarded quite a few badges. It has been a benefit having Brian in Scouts the past 5 years plus. Noah has been able to go on camp outs with the scouts since he was 11, which has helped him earn more badges and ranks. He continues to enjoy scout! We took the whole family and the 3 youngest were very good. We were not sure how Dean and Julia would be since it started at the time they usually go to bed and they are active toddlers. They were pretty quiet and sat most of the time. Julia wanted to be apart of the pictures.

Deborah 1 month

Our baby is 1 month. She is still tiny and petite but is starting to fill out a little. She still sleeps a lot and wakes up every 3-4 hours at night. She does very well when we give her belly time. We all love having her around. The kids love to be with her and think she is so cute.
Sisters, I love it!

Dean is not as affectionate with Deborah. He is more vocal and tells us how cute she is or how she is looking at him. He is a good big brother!

Julia is 21 months

Julia likes sitting in Deborah's chair. She is holding some of her favorite things. She likes her cup full of milk which is her favorite beverage and probably food at this point in time. She is holding a towel which she pulls from the kitchen to wipe up anything that has spilled or she thinks needs to be cleaned. She also likes hats or sunglasses.
Julia loves kissing Deborah. She is so sweet with her and does not seem to be jealous of her yet. Hopefully that will stay that way! She is talking more (but still has a ways to go) and likes to tell me when Deborah is crying- baby crying. She will let me do her hair most days which is great! She likes coloring, books, and doing or having whatever Dean has or does. She is great at saying Noah. She loves to wave and say goodbye. Giving kisses before bedtime is a sweet thing she does. We love this little girl!

Coloring

Dean and Julia love to color. I finally let Julia join in with Dean during this activity. She used to eat the crayons but is so much better. It does get a little messy because Julia ends up dumping the box of crayons and pencils most of the time. It keeps them busy and they enjoy doing it together.

More Swimming

Julia continues to make progress in the pool. She will now jump off the side without holding onto Brian's hands. It is so fun to watch her progress. She can swim to the side with a little push
She can reach for the side and pull herself up

Dean loves to stand on Brian's shoulders with no hands. He is such a fish!

Julia loves to do whatever Dean does so she wanted to stand on Brian's shoulders as well

Labor Day

We had my sister Emily and her family, my parents, and some neighbors the Hatch's over for swimming and pizza to celebrate Labor Day. It was fun and relaxing being with some family and friends! We enjoyed having Brian home as well for the long weekend!Hailey, Alexis, and Emily
Peyton loved playing with Julia in the pool. Julia borrowed some floaties for the first time and liked having them on. I guess we might need to buy her some.

Lilly is one of Dean's favorite friends!

More Pictures of Deborah

She likes to keep her legs tucked up into her body and will cross her legs. She was in that position for so long that she just naturally does it.
She is so small and petite.

Cow Baker

During our pregnancy with Deborah we would ask Dean what he wanted to name her. He first had to get used to the idea that he was not having another brother. Once he got over that he decided he wanted her to be named Jessie after the cowgirl in Toy Story. Cute name but I knew that would not be the name we chose. A couple of months when asked what he wanted to name her he came up with "Cow Baker". I have no idea where he came up with that but he stuck with it and would say that name whenever he was asked. So hopefully Deborah will think it is a funny story when she gets older and will be grateful that we chose differently.
