New Year's Eve

We had a wonderful night celebrating the end of 2011. We went to see the Mesa Temple Christmas lights. Then we went home and did a few fireworks. The kids loved it and it was our first time doing it as a family in AZ. The little ones went to bed and we watched a movie with Noah. We did not make it to midnight but we were not trying to. Julia enjoyed it a first but then I had to put her to bed when it started getting too noisy. She was not happy about the loud noises.

Christmas

We celebrated Christmas for our family today. We did not have Noah until the 28th and Brian wanted to do it when he had the day off. The kids were very patient in waiting. Dean awaits for us to get ready to start.
The kids always have to wait at the top of the stairs and we video tape them coming down

our family except for Deborah who was still sleeping

Deborah was up after we were all done but I thought we should get a picture of her and her gifts.

It was the last Christmas that we will spend in our home on San Pedro. We have had many memorable Christmas times at this home. We are sad but very excited to be in our new home!

Christmas Day was on a Sunday this year. We did go to Grandma and Grandpa Cardon's to open a few gifts and for breakfast. Then all went to church together. It was a nice day and I enjoyed Christmas on Sunday!

Family Pictures

We got our pictures taken the day after Thanksgiving. Poor Dean was not feeling well and even had a fever. I was not willing to change the appointment because I knew life would only get busier and I wanted the pictures ready for Christmas. He did the best he could and all the pictures turned out. It was not as stressful as I thought it would be and the session went very fast.

Deborah 4 months

Deborah continues to be a happy baby. She is sure a cute baby. She talks her baby talk, smiles, eats, sleeps, and sometimes rolls over. She eats 5 times a day, 7 ounces of breast milk or sometimes formula, and takes 2-3 naps. She has not been sleeping as well the past month and usually wakes up 2 times a night. She does not wake to eat and I do not feed her because I know she can go 12 hours. I usually just give her a pacifier, change her diaper, and wrap her up. She wakes up around 5:30 or 6 am and I usually feed her and put her back to bed until around 8:30. This helps me get the kids ready and fed for the day before she is up again. She still sleeps in our closet but it will be nice to have her in her own room soon. I think this will help her and I sleep better.

Christmas Eve

We went to the Stock's home for Christmas Eve dinner and celebration. We enjoyed the food and company. There were quite a few kids so we had two of everything for the nativity scene.

Julia's 2nd Birthday

Our little girl turned 2. She is growing up quickly and is so independent. She keeps us on our toes! She is speaking so much that I can't even keep up with all the new phrases she says. Julia likes watching Dora and when she wants to watch it she say "du du du Dora". She is also very interactive with the show and will point and repeat things going on. She is starting to count and knows how to say 2 when asked her age. She still loves drinking milk all the time. She loves going to the park, nursery, playing with friends, going to grandma and grandpa's home, running with Dean, swimming, baths, cuddling with Daddy, and being chased. She likes playing with her baby dolls, reading books, coloring, and playing with blocks. She likes doing whatever the big kids are doing. She is a tough girl but is our cuddle bug as well. She is the best hug giver! We love her so much and it is fun to think of her birth around Christmas time. She will always be thought of as our Christmas baby!

Deborah's Baby Blessing

Deborah was blessed by her father Brian on December 4th. We were originally going to do it in our home but due to our ward change we had her blessed in the ward we will be moving into soon. We had just our immediate family there since it has been very busy with the holidays and our attempt to packing up our home. My mother made Deborah's dress over the summer. I picked out the material and pattern and she did the wonderful job of sewing it together. She looked adorable in it. It was a good thing we waited for her to be over 3 months because it fit her better. I love her cute smile!

Visit from Nonny, Papa, and cousin Lily

We had a wonderful visit from Brian's parents and our niece Lily. As always we enjoyed their company and did not want them to leave. I tried to get pictures of Lily and Julia together but it is hard to get toddlers to be still at the same time. They both look cute in their pig tails
It was even harder to get all four of the kids to take a picture together. This is my attempt with Nonny's help.

Deborah was sick during most of their visit.
