The kids like having their picture taken a lot. Dean and Julia like to hold Deborah and have me take a picture. These are a couple after they were all up for the morning.

Deborah 7 months

Deborah is starting to eat baby food a little better. She really like mushed up bananas and oatmeal. She is starting to eat some vegetables as well. This stage is not my favorite in the feeding department but she is doing well. She continues to be a very happy baby and is loved by all her siblings. They think she is so cute and adorable. She does great at sitting and enjoys belly time. She still likes to get up once in the early morning and I usually feed her if it is 5 am or after. She usually has her last feeding at 6 pm the night before so I figure she probably is hungry. She is great at going back to bed and sleeping until about 8:30 which works great for me.

Dean

Dean has been wanting to hold Deborah more and more lately. I think it is cute to watch them together. He has also has been a good helper. He has helped me feed her when we are in a hurry and I need to get things ready and loaded before heading out. It is not always a fun task holding her bottle but he does it so patiently. I think I tried to have him do this about a month ago but he was not the best at it. I feel he has grown up a lot in the past month. He is not my little Dean anymore. He likes to help me clean especially mop. He wants to help with cooking as well. I have had to stuff little bags with candy for Lanee's Legacy and he is loves to help me with this task. Of course he wants to eat the candy but he knows that the candy is for people who are sad to make them happy. This is what I told him the first time. I recently told him that it is for moms and dads that have a new baby die at the hospital. He knows that we got some when we had Elizabeth. He asked me if he died still not getting the concept. Then he reminds me that our baby, Deborah, did not die. It is fun that we can talk about so much more now that he is a little older. I love this little guy!

Deborah's first solid food

Deborah is all ready to start her new food This is her first bite
She is looking a little unsure

The smile looks a little fake but overall she did well at her first taste of somewhat solid food

Julia Potty Training

I thought Dean was pretty easy when it came to potty training but Julia was so much easier. We started her last Tuesday. She picked out her Dora underwear and had great success starting on day one. She had already started going in the potty the week before but we still had her in diapers. I did not even have to do a rewards program because just cheering for her was enough. She did get a couple of M & M's we had at home. She has been dry at her nap a couple of times but a diaper at sleep time will still happen until I see she is more consistent. I can't believe how much older she seems to me now.

The Zoo

Dean has been wanting to go to the zoo for over a year. I finally decided it was time to go and luckily my friend Stacy has a zoo pass so it was free. We went 2 times the past week and the kids loved it. Julia kept up with the older kids and Deborah was great just sitting in the stroller.
We went later that what we planned on the first day so they were exhausted on the ride home and they all fell asleep.

We went later in the week and went in the morning so it was not as hot. Dean and Julia waited patiently for our friends to arrive.

They can't wait to go again!

Cutie

I just had to take a picture of Deborah in this cute outfit a friend gave her. It is very bright and colorful! This is the before picture right after Deborah's nap and she is still waking up.
