Primary Program
Dean participated in his first Primary Program. He loved practicing the songs while we were driving in the car. He enjoyed going to the Friday practice and getting a treat at the end for knowing his part. He said his part so loud and very clear. It was "All the animals were saved". All the Sunbeams sang "Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam" at the beginning of the program. Dean sang all the songs and was loud enough for us to hear and most of the congregation. It was cute when during a song with multiple verses he was singing the words to another verse. It was so fun to watch and he sat very reverent the whole time. He even quietly left for a few minutes to take a bathroom break. I was worried that he would miss he favorite song "Nephi's Courage" but he got back just in time. I can't wait for next year when both Dean and Julia will be in the program!

Deborah 13 months
This is what our little one is up too lately. She shows no sign of wanting to walk. She pulls herself up to her feet every chance she gets but she does not walk when she is up. If she wants to move to a different spot she just crawls. She doesn't even like to stand unless she chooses. If I try to stand her up she lifts one leg up so her foot won't touch the ground. She is finding her voice and it can be loud. She still likes to scrunch her nose. She likes wrestling with Daddy, Dean, and Julia. She always has a huge smile on her face when it is time to wrestle. She will push her food or her mouth away if she doesn't want to try something or is finished eating. She loves to dance when she hears music. She has 6 teeth, 4 on the top and 2 on the bottom. She loves to sneak her way crawling upstairs. We have quickly gated it off for safety. She usually can make it through most of Sacrament meeting, a few minutes of Sunday school (she just gets too noisy and has too be taken out), and she has been good in Relief Society lately which is wonderful for me. She has had some stomach issues lately during the night. We usually get a bad messy blowout diaper, vomit, or if we are lucky both every morning when she wakes up. I am not sure what it is since it only happens at night. I am not even sure when it happens because she doesn't cry and goes back to sleep until the morning. We continue to love this little girl and it is fun to watch her grow. It is going way to fast for me!

A Visit from Nonny, Papa, and cousin Lily
We had a fun visit from Nonny and Papa. They brought Lily with them and the kids had so much fun. We did not get a lot of pictures but here are a few with Lily.
They thought it would be fun to dress up but when it was time for pictures things went sour. Dean was waiting patiently for Julia and Lily to get their act together but it did not happen. We got to celebrate Nonny's birthday and all of her children got her an edible arrangement. We were so lucky to share it with her. Lily and Julia were enjoying the yummy fruit!
Lily thought it would be fun to sit in Deborah's car seat.

Deborah's 12 month photos
Deborah got her picture taken at Target a few days after her birthday. She was a cutie but would not stay in one place very long. She loved crawling towards the photographer. I really wanted to get one of her standing up but she also did not want to stand very long. The one shown was the best we could do and Dean was a big helper in getting her to look away from the camera. I just love our baby girl!

Arizona Science Center
We have a year pass to the Arizona Science Center. We got a great deal on Living Social and I am so glad we got it. The kids love it and I have been able to go with some friends and family and everyone is free or close to it. A new exhibit they have is Legos. The kids loved sitting in the huge Lego car. It was a fun activity to do with the kids Saturday. My sister Emily went with her girls and we all had a blast!
Bloody Nose
Julia is really good at bugging Dean. She is usually more aggressive with him than he is with her. They like to wrestle and play rough a lot. The other day Julia did something to Dean and he decided to kick her. This is a first in our home where a kid gets blood gushing from a fight. Hopefully it is the last. Dean was sorry and Julia hopefully knows to be nicer to him as well! She was doing fine after she got cleaned up.
