Bounce U

This is the second summer we went to Bounce U with my sisters and their kids. We also invited our cousin Nicole and her 2 youngest. Dean and Julia loved it. Noah is getting older for this activity but still had fun with his cousins!
Julia had no fear and loved every minute of it!

Dean was a little nervous about the slide at first and I went with him the first time. After that he love it!

Julia's 18 month and Dean's 3 yr check up

Dean and Julia went to the doctor for their well visits. All went well and they are doing great! Here are their stats:

Dean

ht: 40 1/2 inches 95 percentile

wt: 37 lbs 80 percentile

Julia

ht: 33 1/2 95 percentile

wt: 27 lbs 3 oz 95 percentile

Julia is 18 months

Our little girl is 18 months. Time is flying and it is hard to believe she is already 1 1/2 years old. She has liked nursery the 2 times she has been. It is great having her in the same class with Dean. He likes having her there as well. Swimming is an activity she continues to enjoy and is not afraid of the water. She loves baths and water in general. She likes purses, bags or any type of toy or basket you can put on your arm. It is cute to watch her walk around the house with something on her arm. She continues to be our cuddler and we love to cuddle with her. We love her so much!

Swimming with Daddy

One of the favorite things the kids like to do with their Dad is go swimming. They all love it when he comes home from work and takes them or on the weekends. I love watching them wanting his attention all at the same time!

Julia loves being with her brothers and doing what they are doing! Good thing she will be getting another sister to balance things out. She loves swimming!

Dean is becoming such a good swimmer. He has taken some swimming lessons and is now swimming on his own. He is still working on his arms but is getting better very fast. We still need to watch him because he gets tired swimming longer distances but I am so proud of how well he is doing. It makes taking them swimming so much easier.

Julia is working on jumping into the pool. It is cute to watch her get ready to go in by squatting. She normally wears a swimsuit over her swim diaper but when it is in the early evening we don't bother.

Popsicles

It is summer time and time to eat a lot of Popsicles! Julia and Dean went swimming and then I let them enjoy a cool treat after.

Julia Went to Nursery

Brian was in the hallway with Julia during Sunday School and they passed by the nursery while they were changing classes. He made a comment about them being ready for her to come join them next week. They told him to bring her in (a week early). She did great! I peeked in while they were doing snack time and she looked so cute sitting at the table eating her fish crackers. She is growing up so fast!

Dump Time

Brian and Noah did a service project in the early morning. They offered to take the load to the dump. They came home to add some of our trash and to get Dean (he loves going to the dump). Julia wanted to go but there was no room for her in the truck they were using. We satisfied her desire by letting her sit in the front while Brian tied up the load.
