Dean turned 5 years old today. It is hard to believe that this little miracle has been with us for that long. Dean is fun to have at home and he can be a big helper with his little sisters. He loves preschool and anything with learning. He likes doing workbooks and home and has started reading simple books. He likes playing outside, swimming, playing with friends, going to the park, playing games, playing games on the ipad or wii, and still likes doing puzzles. He woke up to streamers and balloons taped to his door. There were also balloons all over the floor in the living room. He really enjoyed the surprise. For his birthday I made pancakes and eggs for breakfast which was his choice. We went and jumped on the trampoline with the sprinklers and Aunt Emily's with cousin Alexis. We enjoyed toy story cupcakes that were for preschool but it had gotten cancelled. I let him pick out a movie to rent and he wanted Madagascar 2. When Daddy got home he wanted to swim. For dinner he chose corn pops and chocolate milk. It was an easy dinner for me to prep. We sang to him and ate more cupcakes and then he enjoyed opening presents. It was a relaxing birthday for him and we had other obligations that night due to scouts so it was nice just keeping it simple. He had a good day and was happy with what he got.
