Dean 22 months

My baby boy is getting so old. Okay he is still so young but I can't believe how fast he is growing. He is becoming so independent and wanting to do most things by himself. His new thing is to take his shirt off and he chooses not to wear clothes if possible. He LOVES nursery! You tell him we are going to church and he is so excited. He is so active and we have to take him on walks to get some of his energy out, especially on Sundays. He loves eating at the table without a booster seat. He just wants to be like everyone else. When Noah is around he tries to copy what he is doing. He loves his big brother. He is talking so much and I am amazed what he knows. He loves saying animal names and sounds. He is a great helper and when he sees me emptying the dishwasher he is right there to help. I just have to get all the glass dishes out before he can. If he sees dirty clothes on the ground he brings them to the the washing machine. He loves to try to sweep also and sometimes makes a mess on the kitchen floor so he can try to sweep it up. When he takes a bath he is great at cleaning up his toys without having to ask. He loves breakfast time which he must get from me. He especially likes it when I make waffles, pancakes, french toast, or eggs and usually a banana. He eats a lot in the morning which is good because he doesn't always eat much the rest of the day. Fruit is also one of his favorites especially strawberries and blueberries. Cars and blocks are the toys he likes to play with lately. He still dances whenever music comes on and is learning new dance moves each day. He is still very easy going and I never worry about leaving him with others because he is always very well behaved for them. Dean is learning to be a big brother and is learning how to be gentle with Julia. He likes to help push the stroller when we go on walks with her. He is a true boy and loves to get dirty. If he sees a puddle he is there getting wet and muddy. He loves rocks and sticks and collects them during our walks. He does have his stubborn moments and unexpected fits but good thing they have mostly been at home usually when he is tired. The problem I have it is hard to get upset at him for long because he is so cute! I just love this boy so much! The other day he found the camera and wanted me to take some pictures. He is wearing one of his favorite shirts passed down from his cousin Cougar. His face is red due to a runny nose that made his face chapped.
