Dean is 8 months

Another month has come and gone and it has now been 8 wonderful months of having Dean in our home. What a great way to start the new year! Dean is still such a good baby. Everyone who sees him tells us how mild mannered he is and easy going. Overall he is just that and I can't think of a time when he was hard to take care of or was crying without a reason. He now has two teeth on the bottom and we are just waiting for the top two to come in. He still loves to stand assisted and is going to crawl any day (not the backward crawl he did last month). He also is very content just sitting and playing. It is fun to get him to laugh and smile. He can be very serious looking and still loves to stare at everything. He still does well around strangers but he is starting to notice when mommy leaves the room. He is talking more in his own little language. He loves to chew on his thumbs but I have never seen him actually suck on them. He still loves to put everything in his mouth. He takes two naps a day which are about 1 1/2 to 2 hours long. He goes to bed around 6 or 6:30 each night unless we are not at home. He had been sleeping on average 11 hours without needing to eat and has gone even up to 13 hours. He loves watching other kids and we love it when Noah is around to entertain him and play with Dean. He loves having his Daddy make him laugh and playing with him in the mornings.
