Deborah's 6 month Stats

We went to see Dr Guthrie for Deborah's well check. She is also sickthanks to Dean and whoever he caught it from. Dean and Deborah have bad coughs and have a little wheezing. Deborah gets to do some breathing treatments and Dean got some inhalers. Overall Deborah is doing well for her age in development.

Wt: 15 lbs 11 oz 50th percentile

Ht: 26 1/2 inches 70th percentile

Deborah is 6 months

It is hard to believe we have had or cute little Deborah for half a year. She is a fairly easy baby and is usually very content. She is starting to sit unassisted but usually starts leaning forward after awhile. She likes grabbing her feet and will suck on her toes if they are naked. She giggles, smiles, talks very loudly and loves being around people. She still eats 5 times a day. We have not started solids yet due to rash on her diaper area and face. It is almost cleared so we can probably start her soon. She still has been waking up at night at least once. I will feed her only once so if she wakes up before 3 am she only gets a pacifier tucked back into bed. She is still very good at falling asleep at church. Our other kids stopped around 5 months. She will take 2-3 naps a day and goes to bed for the night around 6:30 or 7pm. She is usually up in the morning between 7:30 and 8.

Sleepy Dean

Dean does not take regularly naps but occasionally I will find him asleep in a random position. He was not feeling the best today so a nap was very needed!

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day was very busy. Brian and I decided to make chocolates for his coworkers, family, and some friends. The task was a little time consuming but the results were satisfying. The picture does not do justice to how they looked and tasted. We made 6 different kinds of chocolate treats. Brian's coworkers loved it and kept asking him where he got them. They did not believe that he could make them. We had put theirs in white boxes and tied them with ribbon. I just forgot to take a picture. Brian brought me home some beautiful roses and he had taken a glass making class without my knowledge and made me a glass flower that I can put my rings on. It was such a wonderful thoughtful gift! I love it!

Dentist Time

This was Dean's 2nd time to the dentist and he did great! He was so brave and was a wonderful example for Julia. I was not going to have Julia seen but since she was going with me I figured it would not hurt. It took her a while to get in the chair and the hygenist and assistant were only able to count her bottom teeth. She had enough and was done after that. We will try again in 6 months. Deborah luckily fell asleep during the visit.

It is fun to take pictures of the kids holding Deborah. It shows how big she is starting to get. She is not as easy for them to hold. They don't look super happy about my request.

Hi Daddy!

Brian likes me to send pictures to him during the day if I get a chance. Dean likes making funny faces so daddy can have a good laugh at work. Sometimes we send just cute ones. (wish it wasn't blurry because I got them all to smile at the same time)
