Halloween

This year we went to a couple of Halloween parties the weekend before. Unfortunately we did not get a picture or everyone. Noah worked the haunted house at our ward party. He had a blast dressing up and scaring people. On Halloween I took Dean and Julia trick or treating with their cousins who live local. Brian got to stay home with Deborah keeping watch over the house. It was fun being with family but tiring with an almost 2 year old. The older kids were running ahead and Julia along with her cousin Alexis were the stragglers, especially Julia. It was very helpful having extra adults around to watch the kids. This was Dean's first year of really trick or treating so he had a blast. We got a quick picture of the 3 youngest before we left.Julia as Snow White, Deborah as a pea in a pod, and Dean an army guy (thanks to some wonderful friends letting us borrow from them)
I thought they all looked adorable!

Deborah was not so sure about her costume

We met at the Maxfields to go out for the night

Grandma and Grandpa Cardon joined us in the fun

Deborah 2 Months

We went to the doctor today and here are Deborah's STATs:

wt: 10lbs 6 oz 30th percentile

ht: 22 3/4 inches 60th percentile

head: 14 1/2 10th percentile

It is weird to me that she is so small compared to Dean and Julia at this age. She is growing at a good rate and is doing what she should be at this age. She is a good baby and still sleeps a lot. She eats about every 3-4 hours during the day. I sometimes have to wake her up from a nap to make sure she eats. During the night she usually wakes up 2 times and has at least one 5 hour stretch. Too bad it is the first stretch while I am still awake. I am not good at going to bed when she does. Her fussy time is late afternoon/early evening. She sometimes has a hard time going to bed during this time and I have to rock her to sleep or at least hold her. She does great during the day and middle of the night going to sleep. She is starting to smile and is making some baby cooing sounds.

Julia 22 months

I love this little girl! She is such a cutie even when she frustrates me! She all of a sudden started talking more and has started to say small phrases. She still says no a lot and only says yes when we tell her to. She says please, thank you, done momma, more, out, baby crying, I want bite(we share a lot of food in this family), and more but I can't remember it all. The other day we all got out of the car except Noah and she said "out Noah". It was cute! Dean and her have been wrestling, chasing, and rough housing more. Right before bed seems to be the time when she has all of her energy. She is still a great eater, goes to bed great at nap time and bedtime. She is extremely afraid of dogs(got this fear over the summer in Spokane). She is a climber and loves the monkey bars. She scares me at the park because she will grab onto a bar all by herself and hang. Not fun for me but very daring for her! She started not liking her hair being done again. I can do it and it is messed up instantly. I started putting a hat on her when we go out just to keep her hair out of her eyes. For some reason she likes wearing hats. She does like it when I play with it, brush it or blow dry it. She wants to do everything her older brothers do. She likes getting one on one time with her mom and I like giving it when I can. She is very independent and will purposely not do something when asked. She will even ignore us at times when we knows she can hear what we are saying. She has a fun personality and keeps us busy!

Deborah's belly time and rolling time!

Deborah does great on her belly. She usually get a lot of attention from Dean and Julia during this time. I have to remind them to give her space most of the time. She is a strong little baby and has already been rolling over from her belly to her back starting at about 6 weeks. It makes it more work for me because I keep having to roll her back onto her belly.

Marker Fun!

The kids decided that they would have more fun using the markers on their hands instead of the paper. I was gone at a meeting and this is what they did while Daddy was home. He took the picture for me to see the big mess they made. Good thing they were washables but he still had to give them a bath and scrub hard to get it off.

Court of Honor

Noah had a Scout Court of Honor where he was awarded quite a few badges. It has been a benefit having Brian in Scouts the past 5 years plus. Noah has been able to go on camp outs with the scouts since he was 11, which has helped him earn more badges and ranks. He continues to enjoy scout! We took the whole family and the 3 youngest were very good. We were not sure how Dean and Julia would be since it started at the time they usually go to bed and they are active toddlers. They were pretty quiet and sat most of the time. Julia wanted to be apart of the pictures.
