Our Girl

Julia loves to put things on her arms, wrists, head, neck, anything that she thinks she is carrying around. She took this purse from my room and was toting it around the house. She is a cutie!

Julia 19 months

this was taken at Nonny and Papa's home

Here are a few things Julia has been doing these days: playing, dancing, running, laughing, screaming, swimming, climbing, and cuddling. She has started singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star but we have no idea what she is saying. She knows the tune and tries her best with the words but she has a long way. It is cute to listen to! She has added a few words to her vocabulary: shoes, down, please, thank you but I am not sure if others would be able to make the words out. She knows most of the parts on her face or can point to them when we ask. She likes to scrunch her nose a lot and squint her eyes. She loves playing with other kids her age and playing with Dean. She is starting to let me put bows in her hair again. It is great when her hair is out of her face. She still loves to swim and even mentioning swimming causes her to start trying to take her clothes off. It is hard to believe that she is this old because she still seems like our little baby. I guess in less than 6 weeks she will have a big change when her new baby sister comes. It will probably make her grow up a lot quicker. For now we will enjoy her being the youngest!

Cat Tails Zoo

Dean has been wanting to go to the zoo for a while now. It is way too hot for me to take him in AZ so I told him we could visit the little zoo in Spokane. We made it there our last full day in Spokane. It is very small and only has a few types of animals in the cat family (tigers, lions, bobcats, leopards) but it does have a couple of bears, a dog, and a snake. We enjoyed visiting in the morning while the animals were not as active and then really enjoyed visiting at dinner time when the animals were active awaiting their food. We enjoyed going with Lily and Meredith in the morning
I like this picture because the girls are smiling at each other

Dean really liked the big lion not just the statue

Outing with Nonny

Nonny took us to Riverfront Park. The kids enjoyed the carousel twice, lunch, and walking around. Julia was fine on the horse before it started but once it started moving I had to take her off. It is a very fast carousel. Julia, Nonny, and Lily

Lake Fun!

We spent our last Saturday at the Lake. It was so enjoyable and even relaxing. Dean and Julia loved it even with the very cold water. They did not seem to mind at all and just walked right in.

Papa joined them for a while

Dean enjoyed going on the wave runner with Papa and later with Aunt Lindsay

Lavender Fair

On our way to the lake we stopped by the Lavender Fair. Dean and Julia played on the playground and then enjoyed the painting booth.
