Julia 7 months

At 7 months Julia is great at sitting and loves to play with her toys as she sits. She drools a lot but does not have any teeth showing at this time. She finally decided to roll from her back to her belly today but her arm got stuck so she was not too happy. She is starting to sleep on her side now and almost on her stomach. She is great at moving on her back while she is in bed because she is always facing a new direction when we get her after she has been sleeping. She has been great at trying new foods and so far has liked everything except prunes and the baby food bananas. She likes drinking from her sippy cup and almost can do it by herself. She still is great at sleeping at night (except for the past few nights she has woken up at random times not sure why because she wasn't hungry). She is still a mama's girl when she knows I am around but does great when others are watching her without me there.

California Weekend

The day after we got home from Spokane Brian and I were able to get away for the weekend without any kids. It was wonderful! Thanks to my Mom and sister Emily for taking the kids! We went to L.A. for my friend Sarah's wedding. It was wonderful seeing friends, enjoying great weather, eating delicious food, and just relaxing. We went to Santa Monica Beach the morning before the wedding
Sarah and Allen the happy couple! They were sealed in the L.A. temple.
My sister Christin, Sarah, and I before the reception started. Sarah and Christin were freshman roommates and I roomed with Sarah for a year after I graduated high school. What a wonderful friend she has been for these many years!

Saying our Goodbye's

We had a wonderful time in Spokane and did not want to leave. We can't wait to come visit again!Lily and Julia were so cute together!
Meredith was so kind to cut all of our hair while we were visiting. We wished she lived closer!

Nonny and Papa had one last gift to give to Noah for his early birthday.

Nonny and Papa's Toy Room

The kids loved played in the toy room, especially Dean. He could spend hours up there playing.

Trip to the Lake and more

We were able to go to the lake the day before we left when the weather was in the mid 80's. It had been in the 60's and 70's earlier which was great! We had a fabulous time on the wave runners and playing in the water.
Nonny and Julia got tired again and enjoyed a nice little nap in the shade.

Nonny and Dean had fun playing in the sand

We also enjoyed some 4 wheeling around their neighborhood

Early Surprise Party for Noah

Noah got a fun surprise party while we were there since he will be in AZ on his birthday. He got to play hot and cold to find his gifts which consisted of huckleberry food items- jams, syrups, candy, etc.

Hiking/ Site Seeing

We went to the top of Mount Spokane and did a little leisure hike and some site seeing. The weather was in the high 40's being up so high. Pretty crazy for July.

Papa, Lindsay, Cougar, Noah, Dean, Brian, Becky

Dean was a little slower than everyone else and wanted to walk so Brian patiently went at Dean's pace.
