Thanksgiving Day
This year for Thanksgiving we spent it in AZ with my family. We had dinner at my parents home, Grandma and Grandpa Cardon. Most of my family was in town from either Utah or California. We had my brother Andrew and his wife Michelle along with my sister Rachael and her boyfriend Steve stay at our home. My sister Emily and her husband Ryan along with their daughters Peyton and Hailey stayed at my parents home. We had a bunch of family join us for the festivities. We ate a lot and enjoyed socializing. The weather was nice enough for us to eat outside. It had been raining earlier in the week. We did not have Noah with us this year so he was missed!

More Family Fun
Some of us stayed at the Embassy Suites while the others stayed at a beach house in Mission Beach. We all would hang out at the beach house all day until it was time to go to bed for the night. It was great being able to walk across the board walk to play at the beach and then go inside for a while to get out of the sun for a few hours and then head back out later.

Smith Family San Diego Trip
We went to California the weekend of November 14. We first stopped in Irvine to visit my sister Emily and her husband Ryan along with Peyton and Hailey. We enjoyed visiting with them for the night and Saturday morning before we headed to San Diego to meet up with most of the Smith family. Our first stop was Sea World. It was a fun afternoon seeing the shows and going on a couple of rides.

Primary Temple Tree
On Saturday November 8, 2008 our Stake had each ward's Primary plant a tree. The primary children donated money so they could plant a tree at the temple. We took Noah so he could participate in this memorable activity. It was a fun experience for the whole family.
Even Dean enjoyed being a part of the activity.
Each child was able to help dig the hole.
Bishop Burnham talked to the children before the planting started.
Our family by the new temple tree. It is located on the northeast side of the temple by the visitors center.
